Introduction
« on: 16 January 2010, 19:37 »
I joined this site because I am saving my pennies for an ASW-15B. I just got my glider pilot rating this past spring, only have four more flights 'til my bronze badge and the ASW-15B seems like a good first sailplane. In particular, it's good for the price and I'm not rich.

Andrew (and anyone else interested)-

If you are looking for an ASW-15B right now, I think there's one for sale in Michigan... I don't think its listed anywhere right now, but the registered owner hasn't changed. It's owned by the Michigan Soaring foundation in Ionia. The advert early last year listed a price of $17,500 or best offer. Contact person is Jack Steen:   jsteen@steelcase.com . I have the photo from the ad, but I can't send it right now.

Thanks Rob,
It probably won't be in the market for a while yet, but thanks for the info.

Darn typing. I meant, "I probably won't be in the market for a while...".
