Questions about the ASW15 "B" Model - 2008/08/18 05:53 I'm strongly considering purchasing an ASW15-B...

Does it have Balsa in the wings?

How do I find out about Airworthiness Directives for it?

How hard is it to assemble, how much to will it take?

How heavy are the wings? Can I assemble it by myself using a one man rigger?

Where can I get some cheap winglets for it?

Thanks in advance!

The early ones have but you don't have to worry about this. All 15 should have been checked for fungus. Search the forum for more information about that.

Most of them are here in the downloads.

As easy as can be. Schleicher gliders are always easy to rig.

They have the average weight af a single seater; not heavy but it's not very light and yes you can use a one man rigger.

You can get winglets for it but they are certainly not cheap.

Please keep us updated about your buy!
